Dancing with Apartheid in Toronto!

BC Ballet will be taking the stage in Toronto, Ontario on March 29-30, 2019 at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Bluma Appel Theatre.

Groups in Toronto are organizing pickets to tell Ballet BC they were wrong to perform in Israel in January, 2019. Over 10,000 people signed this petition calling on them to not engage in such art-washing of Israeli war crimes, but they did not listen. We urge all supporters in the Toronto area to join these actions to remind Ballet BC and those attending their performances that support of apartheid and the ongoing colonization of the Palestinian people is unacceptable and will not be forgotten.

Ballet BC claimed they "serve as ambassadors for British Columbia and Canada." Let them know that they are not our ambassadors when they dance with apartheid!
