The metal eyesore is the first thing that kids and neighbors will see as they enter the new nature park at 2711 North Dundee Street in South Tampa.

ATT quietly installed the 5G tower in the open space of the main entrance at the intersection of Westshore and North Dundee Street. 

Construction of the park is expected to start in the coming months. Preliminary drafts did not include a 5G tower at the entrance.

City officials tell us that once one carrier's tower goes up, competitors also want to be in the same location (similar to Walgreens and CVS).

This is our chance to be advocates for our kids, parks and neighborhoods.
