We, the undersigned, call for the immediate resignation of Superintendent Gardner. Under his leadership, our community is experiencing its first strike in over 40 years, a crisis rooted in his negligence and failure to prioritize constructive engagement. His unwillingness to address key issues and insistence on stall tactics and bad faith negotiations have only prolonged the strike, exacerbating its impact on students, families, and educators.

Andy Gardner, who makes more money than any previous superintendent in our community's history, has abdicated his responsibilities. Hired by the current board, he has repeatedly ignored safety concerns and the wellbeing of his students and staff. Gross incompetence has ruled the district office, and the superintendent continues to deny his schools the basic necessities to function safely.

This pattern of poor leadership and deliberate delays underscores an urgent need for change. We demand a new interim superintendent who will act in the best interest of our community, commit to transparent and genuine negotiations, and restore trust in our district swiftly.

We also ask that this petition serve as the community's vote of no confidence, demonstrating to our school board that we demand action be taken to restore our trust and get our kids and teachers back in school.
