Underground is a critically  acclaimed , well watched , directed and acted television show that aired on WGN network. It isn't your typical ratchet show that the networks love to support. It tells the stories of  black slaves , those who supported them, how they revolted during slavery and their successes .Tribune Media President and CEO Peter Kern said. “Despite Underground being a terrific and important series, it no longer fits with our new direction and we have reached the difficult decision not to renew it for a third season". In other words , it's not ghetto and ratchet enough. This show is one of the best shows on television and provides a counterbalance to the ratchet black programming that networks love to promote to keep the black community in mental slavery.  This  petition is designed to save this show.  We need to take a stance and  save quality programming .
