Astro dropped BBC Entertainment from their lineup in 2009. To many Doctor Who fans in Malaysia, this is a death blow as the channel was the only source of Doctor Who in the country and the removal of said channel has denied fans of the show access to newer seasons.

Telekom Malaysia (henceforth acronym-ed as TM) has launched a competing platform called Hypp.TV and is currently carrying other BBC channels, with the exception of BBC Entertainment. We hope to enlighten TM to bring in the said channel to once again provide fans of the show access to the channel and to the Good Doctor.
