Please sign this petition if you have suffered a direct financial detriment caused by Telstra's misleading and deceptive billing practices.
Specifically the "Accessory Repayment Option" or "ARO" fee.
Telstra customers are told in store by a sales team member that when they sign up for their new contract they are entitled to choose $240 worth of free accessories from the store. In reality the customer is charged an "accessory Repayment Option" fee of $10 per month.
The aim of this petition is to put a stop to this misleading and deceptive sales practice by Telstra and to ask the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman to investigate this matter as a systemic issue and to determine if any of Telstra's customers are entitled to a reimbursement.
