Tear down the Mods (March Hall) at Lafayette College

Tear down the Mods (March Hall) at Lafayette College
The Issue
Every year, over 50 students at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania are assigned to live in a non-residential modular building called March Hall. The "Mods", as March Hall is better known, is riddled with issues, including incessant mold, mushroom growth, wood rot, electrical fires, water damage, ceiling leaks, lack of water filtration, insufficient kitchen facilities, and an overall hazardous living environment. The school has brushed off these health and well-being concerns and has done little to address the ongoing daily struggles of March Hall residents.
Countless students who have lived in the Mods have faced mold-induced health issues, for which the school has effectively taken zero responsibility. If no action is taken, more and more students will have to undergo living in arguably the worst housing option at Lafayette College and be forced to endure the health issues that come along with it.
March Hall was built on top of the March Field parking lot during the summer of 2017 and has been in use ever since that fall semester. Lafayette College claimed that the Mods would remain on campus for no more than two years. It is 2023 now. That was almost six years ago. Sign this petition to show to our school how important it is that March Hall be removed as soon as possible from housing students, as it is not a suitable living option.
