Public transportation bus drivers are still out there getting people to the jobs and to get medical help during this virus pandemic risking their health to get workers to jobs that all of us count on ,grocery stores, utilities,and health care please help them get hazzord pay.

During the peak spread of COVID-19, public transportation  are at a heigh risk for getting the virus. The CDC has recommended avoiding large crowds and social distancing practices for all Americans. Public transportation are transporting riders 10-30 in a cramped bus putting themselves and their families at a higher risk of infection. 

This petition is to advocate for temporary increased wages in the form of hazard pay to compensate them financially for putting themselves and their families at a higher risk of infection. Many other employers and schools have closed or switched to telecommuting which is not an option for these workers.
