Classical Greek at Xavier: the Phoenix flexes its wings

Xavier has informed us today of substantial interest from current Year 8 parents in their boys studying Greek next year. 

This has come after concerned supporters have recently offered trips, lecturers, scholarships and similar benefits to the student body, largely from the Greek community. All of you have signed, some have commented, and some have even donated almost $5,000 combined, just for the sake of advertising this petition.  To its credit Xavier has been responsive and considerate of the matters at hand in a brief timeframe.

Thank you for helping to bring this petition to its zenith.  We may provide further updates.  We will keep working behind the scenes on Foundation support, VTAC support and other matters.  You all deserve to pause and enjoy a warm inner glow on this cold night.  Greek lives!
