illegal mining in Baco Oriental Mindoro

illegal mining in Baco Oriental Mindoro
The Issue
We just want to people know what are effects of mining in our lives . and mining can lead to erosion ,sinkholes ,biodiversity lost and the contamination of soil ,groundwater and surface water because of chemicals from mining process .and me as Mindoreño i know how mining affect our lives .I seen what are the suffering they experience bacause of illegal mining because i lived there and i see how hard for them to live because of mining people there start to ruin Baco forest and they are one who get benifit what they do but all of the person live their are suffering because of people who ruin our nature
It can really help to those who live in Baco SMRI views solution mining as mining of underground, water-soluble minerals, usually using one or more drilled wells to dissolve the minerals with water (not by using acids used in metal ore leaching). Minerals such as salt, potash, trona, and magnesium salts may be produced by pumping saturated fluid from underground caverns. The caverns are created by pumping out the saturated 'brine' while pumping in fresh water as a controlled production process. The minerals are then recovered from the saturated fluid by recrystallization. Completed salt caverns are commonly used for underground storage of natural gas, crude oil, other hydrocarbons or chemicals, and are now viewed as a possible energy storage solution for green energy! The caverns used for strorage are more valuable than the minerals produced during cavern developmentco when we stop mining because im one of the Mindoreño who lives in Baco and i see how can affect their lives .
People who live in Baco are really by the illegal mining in Baco . and for me as one of the person who lived their i will not let them ruin it . so we need to start the change in our self first and the government must help us to stop mining.
