Having gone through the education system, I strongly feel that children should be taught life skills at school including but not limited to: how to clean a room; how to save for a pension; how to budget; how to do a weekly shop and plan meals; how to travel or find cheap deals; how to perform first aid. 

it is important to have literacy and mathematical skills but I strongly feel that life skills should be given equally important and a syllabus should be proposed and offered to all children at middle school level. 

I’d like to lobby the Education minister to consider this and would appreciate your help and support!
