Get the Taylor High School soccer field named after and dedicated to Nicholas Cordrey
The Issue
On June 3rd, 2020, the Three Rivers Community lost a beautiful soul named Nick Cordrey. Nick was an amazing person. He was kind to everyone he encountered and he was a good friend to a lot of us and a brother to some. He had an insatiable thirst for politics and I think I speak for everyone when I say I thought he was going to be a US president. He loved to talk politics and was very stubborn and never backed down from a fight. High School won’t be the same without him.
Like I said above Nick was stubborn and he wasn’t going to go out this easy. Nick was an organ donor and through his undying generosity he will save a lot of people and will live on through them. Nick has a beautiful personality and it showed in everything he did.
Nick was always smiling and it was infectious. He had that laugh and smile that made you wanna laugh and smile too. Nick made a lot of people happy and something that made him happy was soccer. He enjoyed playing soccer a lot and played both school and club soccer. That being said, I would love to see the soccer field at Taylor High School get named after him and dedicated to him, so that Nick and his legacy can live on through every player to ever play on that field. Every kick, every goal, and even every fake injury, he’ll be there. We as a community, a school, a family, can help Nick live on and remember him for the beautiful person he was and is.
