I am nyc yellow cab driver and driving since 11 years on the street of nyc and like me there are thousand of drivers surviving the struggle. Each trip passenger pay 50 cent MTA . Y passenger Have to pay the MTA . We need this MTA 50cent collection to be stopped . In this struggling cab business we are the victim . If passenger is paying the MTA what benefits did the passenger have . It's zero. Drivers can't even use bus lanes , buses click photos of cabs for dropping passenger or picking up on bus lane . So my humble request to stop collecting the MTA. This has to be stopped.
