OVER 50,000 BACK MY PETITION TO TAX WEALTH AND GIVE WORKERS A PAY RISE

Thank you for signing my petition to tax wealth properly to fund a proper pay rise for our public sector workers.

We have now reached an incredible 54,000 signatures!

I also called for the Government to implement this wealth tax in my response in Parliament to the Budget. You can watch that here. 

We can’t let the Tory government continue to get away with the lie that there is no money to invest in our public services. If the Government equalized just one tax on income from wealth – Capital Gains Tax -  with the Income Tax that people have to pay on their wages, that would raise enough to give every public sector worker a pay rise.
