Tax Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders & Wealth-Tax Advocates: Make Them Lead by Example
The issue
Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders @ Adam Schiff have repeatedly called for taxing billionaires and ‘trillionaires’ to fund society. Warren’s Ultra-Millionaire Tax and Sanders’ wealth tax proposals target extreme wealth.
Yet:
• Warren’s net worth is estimated at $8-12+ million.
• Sanders’ net worth is around $2-3 million (multiple homes, book deals).
• 2-3M, Adam Schiff’s net worth is around $2-3M (millions from career, books, etc.)
If taxing the ultra-wealthy is such a priority, they should voluntarily donate excess assets beyond a reasonable threshold (e.g., $5 million) to public causes like debt reduction, healthcare, or education—or support taxing themselves and peers at higher rates immediately.
Too many politicians advocate policies they exempt themselves from in practice. Sign if you agree these leaders should ‘pay their fair share’ first and demonstrate the policies work before imposing them broadly. Practice what you preach.”
Time for them to be taxed 90% of their net worth and assets and 90% tax on them every financial year. They don’t need the money for anything as they only want welfare of the people.
