Taunton deserves a frequent and connected bus network

In the last two decades the County town of Taunton has lost many bus routes across heavily populated areas and those new estates like Killiams and Nerrols North have struggled to get connected. We are soon to see more developments at Staplegrove (1500 homes) phase 2 of Orchard Grove and Nerrols North will not be directly connected to new bus services , meaning lengthy walks to nearest stops , for services that are already struggling to cope with demand, like the 28 from Minehead. This service connects the key towns and villages in West Somerset with Taunton and its facilities, like health, education, work and access to the national rail network. It also provides Staplegrove and Rowbarton with its town service and was identified as the service for new developments. This is going to struggle at best to form any practical transport solution. We need to campaign for a review of town network and how it works and what changes need to be made , help by signing our campaign for a greater voice
