We are on our way to our first target of 500 signature's

A huge thank you to those who have supported our petition to help raise awareness about the challenges of our bus services in Taunton and thus is replicated in other towns across Somerset like Yeovil and Bridgwater. We often hear of rural services being threatened by cuts and little about our urban services. In Taunton you will see new EV buses which were part funded by the UK government and FIRST bus. This is great investment in local transport in Taunton, but it needs more, the recent fare rises and bus frequency cuts are the other side of the coin and we need funding to give Taunton a service it needs. The town’s population has grown over the last few decades, whilst bus services have reduced, car congestion has grown, bus fares went up and now there are obvious signs. We need to keep our dialogue with Government the importance of all bus services , please pass on this petition with you friends and families
