Mustangs, we need your help to bring back weekly Casual Fridays!

Recently, the heads of the school have decided to restrict Casual Fridays to only once a month, as opposed to once a week. This is a huge loss to the TAS student body. As the student representatives of the school, we oppose this entirely.

Casual Friday is a very important cultural expression of individualism in America and since our school TAS is an American school, having the right to wear casual clothing every Friday has always been a long loving tradition that we all desire to keep. Some are concerned that Casual Fridays will damage the school's image. We agree that appearance matters. The dress code will remain in effect and any violation would result in direct consequences. However, we don't believe that weekly Casual Friday destroys the school's image but in fact the opposite. Weekly Casual Friday reflects the sense of opportunities an American school provides -- the opportunities to express themselves and to have fun without doing anything to detract from productivity.
