Talia Joy Castellano was a 13 year old girl with a bubbly personality. She had Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer since the age of 7 years old, she also had MDS pre-leukemia. Sadly Talia passed away Tuesday July 16 2013 at 11:22am.
Talia accomplished more in her 13 years than most people can hope to accomplish in a lifetime. She pursued her passion for makeup, achieving internet fame and notoriety for her talent. Talia was an inspiration to many children and adults, including myself. She showed me to not care about what anyone says and to live life to the fullest extent no matter what. She was strong in heart and mind. Not only was she an outstanding person whose life was over before she was able to achieve all her dreams; she was a very brilliant fashionist and was intelligent beyond her 13 years.
One of her wishes and accomplishments was to launch her own fashion line; she wanted to show young teens that they can express themselves with clothes. Talia’s love and light brought people together from all over the world. She has millions of followers as she revolutionized social media and YouTube with her make up tutorials and her cancer journey. She appreciated every miracle that came her way, whether it was a new YouTube subscriber or a positive update from her doctors. It goes to show that Talia was truly a fighter. I think it's important to help get her clothing line at Target in her honor because she had gone through so much in her life and the one thing she wanted to accomplish is putting her handprints and footprints on this world.
