Recently a Dáil debate (transcrip is st link below) heavily criticised the manner in which the Harding Clark report went beyond the remit of providing redress to providing a very narrowly researched and highly subjective opinion on applicants. Today the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission's submission to CEDWA states that it does not support the State's contention that it has responded adequately to symphysiotomy survivors.
