A parliamentary debate will take place in the Dail this coming Thursday, 26 January, from 10.00-12.00 on the Clark Report. Women who applied in good faith to the government scheme are portrayed, wrongly, as false claimants. The report devotes some 650 pages to showing that symphysiotomy was non-injurious and appropriate: patient consent, it suggests, was not required. Please like, share, and, most importantly, email your views on this exercise in victim-bashing to TDs.
