Please intervene to prevent discrimination against members of the Russian speaking community and our children who live in Ireland. Everyone in our community condemns this war and all aggression. Our community includes Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Armenian, Georgian. Many of us are currently receiving physical and written threats. Our children are putting up with verbal and physical abuse from other pupils. You have the means to prevent Russian speaking people being discriminated against based on language. This bias only serves to further racial inequality. Remember all the great authors and others from all our communities who speak Russian; artists who speak out against wars. Language and culture connect nations and builds bridges. When voices are silenced, prejudice wins. Ireland has endured much injustice in her history and understands discrimination. Please act now to prevent further injustice and discrimination! Thank you!
