Lets make our wildlife safe with animal underpasses and bridges to stop road kill

Lets make our wildlife safe with animal underpasses and bridges to stop road kill
The Issue
Too many foxes, hedgehogs, badgers, squirrels and other wild animals are killed on our roads in the UK; 335,000 hedhogs where killed in 2020 (source; bbc.co.uk, Nottingham University.) 100,000 foxes have been killed in 2020 (source RSPCA) and 50,000 badgers killed ever year it os estimated (badgertrust.org) There is a solution but we need the government to realise and act on this! The bio diversity of our country depends on it. It has been proven that animal highways and crossings under or over roads do help too the population of species effected road kill. There are costs associated with these crossings i understand but isnt saving our beautiful animals and bio-diversity of our country and planet worth it? I believe it is so lets see if we can help our wild animals in our communities and fight for a safer world for them where human activities on our roads don't kill more of our beautiful wildlife. Lets get our government thinking about the wild animals we share our planet with and see if we can get them too put some policies and money towards helping Britians wildlife. I'm a photographer and animal lover and i think together we can help the animals that make myself and so many of us happy that we share this planet with them. Lets make some animal highways and help save there populations
