Hello all 140,289 of you!
I hope you’re having a lovely week.
As you know, tampon tax was dropped in 2021 by the Government, which should have resulted in £15m of total yearly savings for consumers. Yet, we’re STILL waiting to reap any financial benefit as supermarkets have failed to drop their prices in line with this tax cut.
Next week, we’ll put additional pressure on all the leading supermarkets to finally do the right thing and lower the price of their period products, particularly in the midst of the cost of living crisis. We will keep you updated with how you can get involved throughout the week as we need your support to succeed!
In the meantime, it would be amazing if you could please tweet the below, asking these retail giants where our £15m has gone. This can act as forewarning as our campaigning storm is coming next week! You can also click on this link to tweet.
Many thanks and have a great weekend,
Laura
