Why this petition matters

I have become very passionate about employees rights in the workplace and ask for your support by signing this petition. Have you been bullied at work? Have you been fired or written up as a result of a manager's or co-worker's lies? Has your livelyhood and Mental health been affected by retaliation or bullying at work? If so, then we need to stop this. This is NOT okay.
I propose that corporations be required to have an Employee Resources (ER) Rep available to them. Not Human Resources - they support the companies best interests NOT employees. An ER would advocate for an employee. Ensure fairness against, what I call, Manager/Subordinate loyalty, and abrupt unjust write-ups, performance plans, or termination without facts and documentation, being informed of all allegations, witnesses interviewed, and most importantly, hearing the employee's side.
A tool that I am working on to aid in this fair treatment process of employees is a self-reporting application. Anyone, including managers, would submit an incident report, it would be directed to managers of all reported employees, the employees involved, and ER. The employee that has the complaint filed against them will see exactly what is reported, have a chance to respond, and have the option to meet with all involved parties to resolve problem, or just resolve it through the tool and move forward.
This would eliminate lies and harassment by peers and co-workers and even managers if their complaints are tracked, recorded, and reported to employees. Employees have the right to know what allegations are being reported about them. I was told by a manager and Chief Officer that what was said about me was confidential, just like what I was saying was confidential.
Logically, that makes no sense. How can problems be resolved? I felt like it was all mind games. It's not right and it's unethical. Good thing our court system operates differently and we are innocent until proven guilty.
