My daughter is a final year student at sastra university. Their admission process is highly transparent, no advance booking paying huge amount but strictly on merit basis. Their fee structure is less compared to other colleges. They encourage students through various award programs and refund mess fees etc..Encroachment by the university is started by some vested interests to grab the university when request from other colleges on similar issue was differently dealt with. Also they have been addressing this additional land requirement issue for the university from then CM MGR time onwards and even offered prime land in lieu. TN govt plans to build a prison on that land will only put pressure on the university to close down...
