At current estimates there are 74 water bottling plants around New Zealand, extracting and exporting millions of litres of pure kiwi water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with permits for 10-15 years - virtually for free. 

This has to change.

• Our goal is for the New Zealand Government to pass urgent legislation to enable territorial authorities to fairly charge bottling plants for the water they extract and to put that revenue into the clean up of our waterways, for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
