Please testify tomorrow morning in support of CR22-73 for Tamara Paltin's Committee to launch a Formal Investigation of Planning and Public Works' approvals of Greg Brown’s Napili Monster “Hotel”.
 
Our Council Members need your vocal support to approve this investigation. Planning Director Michelle Mclean and Corporation Counsel Moana Lutey, will surely continue to attempt to silence this investigation into their roles in these wrongdoings. 

As their actions are sure to be subjects of the proposed investigation, how is it that either one of them gets to influence the Council on any of this? 
 
The council needs to look further into the doubletalk and evasive answers that all the departments gave to the list of challenging questions Tamara Paltin bravely raised at our request last May.

Moana Lutey's oft-repeated, misleading claim that Corporation Counsel performed an "investigation" into Greg Brown's alleged bribes when no report from any such investigation was ever filed anywhere, should also be scrutinized. 
 
Please support the Council to hold accountable the individual bad actors as an example to others to build back credibility in these departments, and to use what is learned in this investigation to adopt simple legislative fixes to close the loopholes and stop this abuse once and for all.
