Aug 31st 2023 Saturday night Takeaway contacted Richard. I had been personally hand picked by Ant & Dec & Saturday night Takeaway to be an audience member of their live show. Richard was told he had to keep this a secret from me! 

Sept 4th ITV arranged a zoom call with us as a family. We were told they wanted to see the children too, they called it an interview for a new animal charity documentary they were producing. Richard, myself, ziggy, Maddison- Pumpkin, Smiggle and Ernie were all part of the 30 min zoom interview they were fully aware of Pumpkin and her needs. We spoke at great lengths about her care and of our 'Wheelie good friends' All 900+ of them.

As a family, we were so excited- what could this be? How amazing for our charity 'Pumpkin and friends' to have a show on itv.

As the months went by, we didn't hear anything and we slowly forgot about it. Turns out it was all a lie, we had been manipulated by SNT.

Little did I know that they had been contacting Richard in secret. Saturday night Takeaway confirmed and planned the secret mission of getting me to the show. Richard had also provided lots of photographs of myself, and Pumpkin.

Feb 24th was our anniversary, Richard told me he was treating me to a weekend in London! I packed Pumpkins bag

Stroller, wheelchair, nappies, pads, wipes,medicmedication, shampoo, towels bed, clothes, bblankets and food. Saturday Takeaway had organised and paid for a dog friendly hotel in London. They knew and understood Pumpkin couldn't be left alone at home.

We arrived in London, the Kensington Hilton. Pumpkin whizzed around the hotel, enjoying the attention. 

The secret was out, Richard told me everything. We were in London to watch Ant & Dec's Saturday night Takeaway- I was completely shocked. How exciting � 

We arrived at the show, took our seats and partisapated in the off air fun & games. 

During the show Ant and Dec showed an old photograph of me with a perm, back in the 90's. How embarrassing, but it made me laugh. They mentioned me a few times throughout the show, the whole experience was so surreal- I was completely in shock. 

The big surprise Inc for Richard was that the entire live audience had be rewarded with a Takeaway getaway. 411 people had won an all inclusive holiday with Tui- for 4 people including excursions! 41 destinations and 5 cruises.

Richard and myself looked at each other and both said 'What about Pumpkin' ?

The whole production team and crew were lovely. I was star struck meeting Ant & Dec, Andy Peters, Simon Cowell and Becki Hill- what an Incredible experience and surprise. 

After the show we were interviewed on camera by Tui. They asked us how we were feeling and where we wanted to go on holiday. 

All I could think about was Pumpkin. Was Pumpkin included in the holiday? I can't and won't leave her. 

When signing the contract with Saturday night Takeaway I kept asking about Pumpkin. I was beginning to feel really anxious, what about Pumpkin? Was Pumpkin included in our Takeaway Giveaway?

It's been a rollercoaster of emotions ever since the show.

I was so grateful and overwhelmed by the whole experience. To be surprised by Saturday Night Takeaway and invited to watch the show live. But to then to be rewarded with a fantastic dream holiday, was just mind blowing. But now we realise it was just manipulation to make good TV. The lies, the research and the emotional rollercoaster Saturday night Takeaway have caused us is shocking. We deserve an apology!!

Running Pumpkin and friends charity and sacrificing my life to Pumpkin and disabled animals. I don't get paid, I do this voluntarily. I gave up my nail salon and business to help others. A holiday is something as a family we can't afford.

My children, Richard and myself have been on cloud 9 for weeks, planning where we want to go.

But leaving Pumpkin is just not an option. We never expected Pumpkin to go on an aeroplane with us. We wouldn't want to put Pumpkin through any unnecessary stress.

Without Pumpkin we wouldn't have the charity. Pumpkin is the ambassador and inspiration of Pumpkin and Friends charity. 

The hate and trolling we would receive if we left her would be horrendous. We would lose respect and supporters. Pumpkin is a paralysed dog with specialist needs. She can not go into kennels, they don't accept disabled animals. They are not insured for her wheelchair or experienced with how to look after her. 

Pumpkin is completely dependent and bonded to me, she never leaves me. Her anxiety Without me would make her incredibly poorly. 

We have always asked for a DOG friendly holiday. We have asked for a uk holiday, but Tui say this isn't available.

What a rollercoaster of a ride. Im exhausted, upset and frustrated.We accepted Pumpkin couldn't fly with us on the aeroplane weeks ago. We wouldn't want to put Pumpkin through the stress. We are in a no win situation, go on holiday without Pumpkin and cause her serious stress. We would be trolled and abused by the public for leaving Pumpkin behind, when she is the reason I was rewarded this holiday!! Or we lose the holiday and walk away, the holiday would be wasted and nobody but Tui would gain!! 

Tui have said no to a uk holiday or even letting Richard go away with the children without me. We are heartbroken for our children. They have lost their holiday. They have watched their mum be rewarded with a dream holiday for running our charity Pumpkin & Friends Charity 1199484 . Then seen me upset and being trolled across the Internet � Saturday night Takeaway hand picked me to win this holiday. They personally picked all 411 winners!! I didn't apply or enter a competition to appear on Saturday Night Takeaway. Itv researched our charity for over 6 months. They knew everything about me, they were fully aware of the situation with Pumpkin and that she cant be left alone without me. Saturday night Takeaway rewarded me personally for the charity work I do for disabled animals. The prize is in my name and can not be exchanged. 

 

We want to use the full prize for our charity Pumpkin & Friends Charity 1199484 . The holiday would of been worth around £8,000! 

We have been offered an unacceptable £500 tui gift card for the charity. Pumpkin has told Tui to 'woof off' - we will keep fighting!

 

I don't care about myself, I'm now fighting for disabled animals. I won't give up!!
