Close to two weeks ago, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. waged WAR on "Online Mods". Because of this, OpenIV was sent a cease and desist letter.

In this letter, Take-Two declared that it was illegal to mod their games. The modding tool (OpenIV) was asked to stop distribution. They complied.

The issue is, OpenIV does not allow "Online Gameplay". If you were to attempt to get online, a message would appear; redirecting you to Story Mode.

With that being said, fans, like myself, are outraged. We have been allowed to do this for a decade now! There are other ways of cracking down on "Online Mods".

There has been over 50 Thousand NEGATIVE reviews on GTA 5 in the last 2 weeks, and a petition with OVER 75K signatures! That was us, and we will not stop.

We DEMAND our offline modding tool be ALLOWED to distribute, and continue with ANY project they may be working on. (Since this modding tool is for OFFLINE USE ONLY)

This petition is FAN MADE, and FAN BUILT!
