The Iranian regime has been violating the fundamental human rights of its citizens on a daily basis since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Iranians have had enough. This has led to an escalation of violence by the regime, whose only way of staying in power has been precisely such repression.

We demand that the EU and its international partners get on the right side of history and put pressure on the Islamic regime to stop violating the human rights of the Iranian people by:

• Suspending ongoing business and negotiations with the Iranian regime, including the purchase of oil.
• Shutting down the regime's propaganda organs.
• Imposing tough sanctions on anyone with ties to the regime.
• Expelling ambassadors and government officials.
• Taking active measures to distribute and establish communication channels for those affected by Internet disconnections.
