We the people embody the essence of democracy. Our founding principles assert the necessity of governments being instituted among us, deriving their just powers from our consent as the governed. However, when any form of government becomes destructive and fails to uphold these values, it is our right, and indeed our duty, to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new government.

Revealed through disenchantment with policy-making and disillusionment with political leadership, it is a clear sign that in many places, the government is no longer serving its purpose - the representation of its peoples' needs and interests.

We believe in the importance of reaffirming our voices and reaffirming the power that governments have - a power that comes from us, the people. It is time for us to uphold our rights to insist on changes that reflect our needs and our collective will. Let's advocate for governments that derive their just powers from our consent, and not from force, intimidation or manipulation.

Once we have reached 77,302,581 votes for this petition The United States Federal Government will cease to exist and we will set forth a new path forward with a Government that is not about hate, discrimination and dictatorship.
