Often, we find ourselves dodging aggressive dogs that freely wander around, posing risks not only to our safety but also causing significant distress among residents, especially children and the elderly.

The presence of unleashed dogs in our community disrupts the peace and safety we all deserve. Our streets should be safe walkways for pedestrians, not dominated by dogs whose behaviour can be unpredictable and, at times, dangerous. Furthermore, these dogs sometimes run into the streets, causing accidents involving motorists that could potentially result in severe consequences, even putting lives at risk.

The local Homeowners Association (HOA) officers of LUMINA Taguibo Butuan have the authority and responsibility to ensure a safe living environment for all of us. It is crucial that they take immediate and effective action to control this situation. Implementing strict leash laws and ensuring their enforcement would make a substantial difference.
