Dahmari Hayes drowned in the Sims Bayou on 6/2/2022. He went fishing with a friend and never returned home. The bayou has drop off points that has 9-10ft of water, with no signs posted, the children thought that part was shallow just like the rest of the bayou. Take action to post signage alerting citizens before another life is lost in the Houston Sims Bayou!!!! My son’s 16th birthday was on 6/6/2022. He didn’t get the chance to celebrate.
