Hello, UN Human Rights Office, please pay global attention to the torture of people practiced by Russia, which Russia is no longer even ashamed of and does not hide.

 

On March 23, 2024, Russian security forces/Russian law enforcement (who are official persons) cut off the ear of a bound, immobilized SUSPECT in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall and forced him to eat this ear. After torture, he “confessed” to the terrorist attack, but the testimony extracted from him by torture cannot be trusted, this goes without saying.

 

In any case, whether he is innocent or guilty, this is a gross violation of Human Rights.

 

Let me remind you that at the time of torture he was just a suspect, that is, with a high probability of being innocent. What happened can only be compared to a lynching.

Russia did not arrest, try or prosecute the security official/officer who maimed and tortured the suspect. There, Russia shows that its security forces can do this to anyone.

Let me remind you that many harmless, innocent oppositionists are listed by Russia as “terrorists”, and Russia also keeps many political prisoners in prison in terrible conditions. Putin also killed Alexey Navalny in the prison on February 16, 2024. Recently, Russian oppositionist Leonid Volkov was attacked in another country; unknown people beat him with a hammer, hitting him on the head, arms, and legs, and breaking his hand. Putin also recently stated that he will “punish the traitors wherever they are.” ㅤ
