I feel that a law should be made on people who decide to drive under the influence and take a life. The judicial system only gives them 4 to 4 1/2 years and they are out in a 1 1/2. A dui is a dui but it shouldn't be considered a dui and manslaughter if you actually kill someone because of being intoxicated. This petition hopefully gets out and to the right people and tons of signatures to make it a law that if you decide to drive and get behind that wheel and get in a wreck and you kill someone as well as hurt others you should get life not a slap on the wrist because that person that you killed doesn't a chance at life anymore. If you look up the fatalities on a accident due to driving under the influence you will see over 10,000 people die from alcohol related accidents which is 40%. Where does that leave someone's family friends and others affected by the tragedy versus the person who actually caused the accident they are out in under 4 years and more then likely will have more over the years. With that said I would like the law if it does pass to be called the Terbear and Emily law. TAKE A LIFE GET LIFE!!!!!!!!
