外務省が問題を認識 - a great advance
Jan 4, 2017 — 逝去から5年が経ち、この度正式に、在サイパン領事事務所と話し合いを持つ機会を得、TAIJIの死因が不可解、且つ、当時のサイパン諸機関の対応に疑問と問題があったと認識して頂くことができました。
事件の再調査と真相を求めるご署名を頂いている事についてもお伝えし、20ヵ国以上の方々から届けていただいた沢山のメッセージをファイリングし、お渡しさせていただきました。
まだ真相が明らかになったのではありませんが、こちらのキャンペーンは終了いたします。

Five years have passed since his death and we could finally have an opportunity to talk with the Consulate-General of Japan in Hagatna officially and we hereby announce that the Consulate have admitted that the handlings of those institutions, that dealt with TAIJI, were poor and had problems.
I informed to the Consulate that we have a website that collects signatures of people that require re-researching this incident and I handed in the messages from 20 different countries to them.
Our campaign finished this time, the truth has not yet been revealed though....
