Save Medina's Parks! Tell @TMobile, #DontCellOurParks

The Issue

NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS ARE AT RISK
P
arks should be the last option for industrial cell towers, not the first

Wireless giant T-Mobile and its billion-dollar cell-tower partners, Independent Towers/Vertical Bridge, and their litigators are back in federal court, fighting the Medina residents and suing for special permission for permanent industrial cell tower siting in Medina's park, even though there are many viable, less-intrusive, pro-community options outside our neighborhood parks, including utility poles, the SR-520 highway right-of-way, and commercial buildings. T-Mobile admits it failed to consider any viable options outside of Medina's community parks.

If the litigators win, then under federal law Medina will be powerless to stop them, and all of Medina's parks will be at risk. Our parks and our community's life-scape will be needlessly and irreparably disrupted, contaminated and stigmatized.

Today, it is our neighborhood parks that are at risk. Tomorrow, it could be your neighborhood parks. Add your voice and speak up now!

We all love our cell phones, but here's the BOTTOM LINE: Parks should be the last option for siting industrial wireless towers and infrastructure, not the first.

@TMobile, we want you in our community, but we deserve pro-parks, pro-community wireless siting.

Neighbors and friends, please sign our petition to Save Medina's Parks. It’s a fact: When communities are vocal about deserving pro-community wireless siting solutions, it works -- wireless carriers and elected officials prioritize pro-community wireless sites.
