T-Mobile CEO John Legere, Don't Sell our Data

T-Mobile CEO John Legere, Don't Sell our Data
The Issue
Dear John,
Since Congress voted to overturn an FCC rule protecting our internet browsing privacy, that information can now be sold to the highest bidder.
This information can reveal deeply personal information about our lives-- searching "best foods for cancer patients" for example. Or "how to get over the death of a child."
We use the internet as a resource, sometimes just for dumb memes, but sometimes to ask the questions we're afraid to ask aloud. It is a betrayal of our trust to have this sensitive information auctioned off to the highest bidder.
So since T-Mobile is legally *allowed* to sell this data, we're asking you *morally* to refrain from it.
T-Mobile has been the world's first Uncarrier and millions of us signed up be part of the revolution. Your stock price shows that it's worked. So keep leading the revolution and show Dumb & Dumber, Comcast, Time Warner/Charter and their ilk that you don't have to betray your customers to make a buck.
Don't sell our data.
Sincerely,
T-Mobile Customers & shareholders
