The new branch of Qdoba at Colorado School of Mines is wildly popular and offers a drink with each meal purchased. One of the main options is Nestle bottled water in single-use plastic, unlike cupped water or other alternatives. Dozens to hundreds of these bottles are handed out every day on a campus with seamless access to water inside each and every building.

Plastic water bottles have been shown to lead to hormonal issues, lung disease, and cancer from direct use. Furthermore, these bottles directly seep into the environment, killing wildlife, altering ecosystems, and poisoning our food sources.
