Swiss Chalet: Publicly Commit to Improved Chicken Welfare Standards

Hello, my name is Hannah. If you care about preventing animal cruelty, I’m asking for your help.
On typical factory farms, most chickens are bred to grow so large, so fast, they are crippled by their own weight. They often suffer from constant leg pain so severe they can’t stand.
Unlike other major food companies such as Tim Horton's, Burger King, Starbucks, Boston Pizza, Earls, and many others, Swiss Chalet has failed to adopt a chicken welfare policy that would effectively prevent these abuses. It’s time that Swiss Chalet's leadership answer consumers’ urgent demands for transparency and accountability.
Please join me in asking Swiss Chalet’s leadership to adopt the same meaningful broiler chicken welfare commitment as its competitors. Swiss Chalet should publicly pledge to meet the broiler chicken welfare standards of the internationally recognized Global Animal Partnership (GAP) on breed, stocking density, and environment (including light and enrichments standards). Don’t eat at Swiss Chalet until the company publicly adopts an effective and adequate chicken welfare policy.
