Current students who started their degrees prior to January 2014 have their units graded on two different scales. Eg. A student who received a mark of 83 prior to 2014 would receive a distinction (D), however now that same mark would be a high distinction (HD). This effects the calculation of a students GPA which is calculated by the grading scale (P, C, D, HD), as well as making the academic transcript look incorrect. Please sign this petition if you would like to have the new grading scale used on students past units if they are still currently completing their degrees so that a students whole degree is graded on the one scale.
