Hi all, I hope in the unprecedented time like this you all are doing well. I have something good to share and that is swiggy has made their food ordering experience accessible. It took almost 15 months but finally it was comparatively smooth experience. They have made menu accessible and adding the things in card also became accessible with screen reader, to do tracking orders as far as ordering food is concerned. However swiggy has to improve their accessibility with screen readers on rating screen and so do their interface with genie. I am sure they can take queue from Amazon fresh and Zomato grocery delivery for the interface. But the food ordering experience has been made smoother and let me thank you all for this because without your support it would not have been possible. It gives me hope that together we can, if we are together then we can ask corporates to make their products inclusive and accessible. This is a very tough road to walk on but I know that support of yours made the journey beautiful. I am also thankful to swiggy for finally making our experience smoother than what it used to be.
