We need to save TY FFOREST COMMUNITY HOUSE SWANSEA from being forced to close by the local COUNCIL housing team, our centre helps the most vunerable in Swansea with FOOD SHARE,FURNITURE SCHEME,ADVICE AND DROP IN SERVICES,COMMUNITY CAFE,COMMUNITY GARDEN,TRAINING COURSES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS,TOY BOX SCHEME,EMERGANCY RELIEF FOR PEOPLE IN CRISIS (providing essential items following house fires,flooding,evictions,fleeing domestic violence). We are an ESSENTIAL service, NON PROFIT,VOLUNTARY LED AND RUN centre that has been providing services for over 20 years, the local council who we lease our property from (and have done for the past 20 years) want our property back but DO NOT intend to use it for any COMMUNITY purpose !. We need to save our property (they have offered nowhere for us to go) to continue serving the people of Swansea who rely on us to be there for them when they have nobody else to turn to.
