Remove Restrictions from Shingle Bank, Minster

Remove Restrictions from Shingle Bank, Minster
The Issue
Swale Borough Council has installed width restrictions to Shingle Bank to prevent wide vehicles, such as vans, ambulances, campers, motorhomes etc to gain access.
Swale Council has decided do this whilst there is a world wide pandemic in the hope that many locals, holiday makers and businesses will not notice this change. After many emails that have been sent to the likes of Tim Valentine (Councillor) and Mike Knowles (Seafront & Engineering Manager) we had hardly any response, We repeatedly asked to be kept informed of any decisions that were to be taken. At no point were we pro-actively updated.
Shingle Bank is a rare and beautiful place to visit and is enjoyed by many campervan/motorhome owners as it is a unique place to stay all year round. Swale Borough Council seem to not understand that there are no other places for holiday makers and locals, like myself to park close to the beach.
These holiday makers come from all over the UK and spend their hard earned money helping to build our local economy by using local businesses.
Instead of restricting campers, the council should be welcoming them and charge them to stay at such places, like they do at Reculver Castle etc. to bring in extra money to help improve and look after the local area.
