I have only recently returned from holiday and had a chance to catch up on emails. SWTC admitted to me in an email of 22 June that as I alleged, SWTC *have* indeed afforded other traders longer to return from sickness than has been offered to Jacqui.
Far from being fair (as SWTC have said the rules are applied uniformly), this is very unfair. Apparently at some point a review was made by SWTC that the grace period should be upheld more strictly. This is a change of terms and conditions. It does not appear that any traders were given the right to consult on this, but a new contract was imposed.
At the same time a gentleman by the name of Paul has been spreading aggregious rubbish that Jacqui has been working a market stall on a different market. This is libellous, highly offensive, and disrespecting to Jacqui, and born out of a personal vendetta. If she was well enough to run a market stall she would be working her pitch in Walden and avoid all this stress and financial worry.
SWTC also admitted that the market is at full capacity in terms of traders and there would be no guarantee of a return for Jacqui when she is well again.
Until now, SWTC have been letting the space to temporary traders. All we are asking is this continues until Jacqui is well enough to return.
