The closure of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAHMS) Looked After and Adopted Children in West Sussex will have a huge impact on those who currently use or could be using this service in the future. I have started this petition because our 2 children are adopted and we know many, many children who use this service. Children who have suffered trauma and neglect do not cope well with change so just closing this service will have a huge impact on them. Looked after and adopted children often suffer mental health problems due to poor early years nurturing.  This is a vital service for Looked After and Adopted children and their families in our area. Please sign this petition to make West Sussex County Council realise the impact the closure will have.
