DEMAND JUSTICE FOR ANIMALS ABUSED AND LEFT TO DIE AT SUSSEX COUNTY "PETTING" ZOO
The Issue
Demand that the monster, Dennis Sugar, who severly abused pigs, and goats at his "petting zoo", letting them live in filth and literally starving 3 of them to death, be prosecuted by the Sussex County, NJ Prosecutors Office, and be given the maximum sentence allowed by law.
Upon arriving at the Sugar Sweet Farms Petting Zoo, officials found 30 dead pigs as well as 14 live pigs that were malnourished. When they went to his private residence, they found 3 dead piglets in a pen, as well as a dead goat in a hay pile, which was surrounded by the remains of other dead piglets. When a vet was called to the property, he treated goats with fractured legs, and other live pigs with mange. Detectives at the scene said that the pigs had access to dirty water and no food.
Various skulls and other animal remains were found in the rear of the property. If he is convicted of all animal cruelty charges against him, he could face 13 years in prison. We must push the Prosecutor's office to ask for this maximum sentence !
Dennis Sugar has a criminal record dating back to 2004. He currently resides in Branchville, NJ.
