I would like TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms to suspend any account associated with convicted murderers Mahek and Ansreen Bukhari. Please help me to bring this to their attention and have all their active social media accounts disabled.

I am the uncle of Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin. Hashim and his friend Saqib Hussain were both murdered by Mahek Bukhari, her mother and their friends. They premeditated, carefully planned and manipulated a situation to lead the boys to their deaths. They intended to harm the boys, and asked them to meet at a local Tesco carpark, however the boys knew something was wrong and drove off without stopping. They were then chased, much of which is captured on camera. MAHEK Bukhari alongside her mother Ansreen Bukhari, convicted rapist Raees Jamal, Rekan Kerwan, Natasha Akhtar, Ameer Jamal and Sanaf Gulammustafa; recklessly and dangerously chased the Skoda that Hashim and Saqib were in. They chased my nephew and Saqib at speeds of over 100mph on the A46 in Leicester, England until they eventually rammed them off the road and callously drove past the wreckage. During the pursuit Saqib used Hashim’s phone to call the police and pleaded for help as they “was being rammed of the road” he said he was going to die. Shortly after there was a loud bang and the phone disconnected. The judge described the 999 phone call as “one of the most moving and distressing pieces of evidence heard in a criminal court”.

The Bukhari’s and the two drivers were found guilty of double murder. Whilst the other 3 accomplices were found guilty of manslaughter. One of the accused, Mohammed Patel was found not guilty. He had assisted the investigation by providing a truthful account of what happened.

They have taken the most humble, caring and beautiful soul from us. I will not stop until I get peace (although I will never). But I can’t move forward when her accounts are active, especially when I know social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram & YouTube can disable accounts.

Unbelievably, Mahek still has an active TikTok account which continues to gain thousands of followers each day. This is completely immoral and wrong! It is insane to think people could still follow and generate income for a convicted murderer who has shown no remorse.

The reason for my campaign is that no family in this situation should have to watch the account of their loved ones murderer grow and not be closed, especially given the nature of the crime. Mahek Bukhari was classed by the Judge as a “self obsessed individual who is very immature and has no empathy”. During court breaks, this girl was happily playing Monopoly and Uno. She firmly believed she was untouchable.

Please help me in getting her accounts suspended! Mahek has been sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 31 years before parole can even be considered. She does not deserve the privilege of an active TikTok account, which allows her continue gaining followers and generating an income to support her through her incarceration. Since her arrest, members of her family have deleted their accounts but she has just disabled comments whilst intentionally allowing her accounts and their content to remain online. This is completely unacceptable.

I need your help, so please support me on this, by signing and sharing this petition. Please continue to go on TikTok and report her account. The comments under my posts have the details of the murderer.

This is on behalf of both families: please stop giving these heartless murderers coverage and allow the victims to be at the forefront.
