DEMAND CLEMENCY FOR 2 ROTTWEILERS, MOOMOO AND THUMBELINA, AT CHICAGO ANIMAL CONTROL

There are 2 dogs that have been caged for nearly four years at Chicago Animal Control.  Under Illinois law, a citizen who caged their dog for that amount of time could be charged with felony animal cruelty.  Yet, Moomoo (A065450) and Thumbelina (A065449), both Rottweilers, have been rotting in cages at Chicago Animal Control since 7/6/2012. 

This is barbaric.  We demand that the new shelter director, who has known about these dogs, to immediately act to place these dogs in a sanctuary even while the dogs' legal case is pending. 

Shame on , Chicao Animal Care and Control administration, staff, and everyone involved who has allowed these dogs to be caged, in such an inhumane way, for so many years. This is beyond cruel and inhumane  treatment.
